Rick received his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from U.C.L.A. in 2006 and his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law in 2009 with a Certificate in International and Comparative Law. Rick practices mainly in the areas of general and maritime personal injury, first-party insurance disputes, and employment matters throughout Louisiana’s State and Federal courts, as well as handling appellate matters in diverse areas of civil litigation.

Rick has argued appellate matters of first impression and previously-settled law in either oral argument or briefing before most of the appellate courts of the State of Louisiana, as well as courts in Indiana, Mississippi, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court, and has presented his Continuing Legal Education program “Winning On (And With) The Briefs: Effective Appellate Representation” for the Louisiana Association for Justice at CLE à la Carte in New Orleans.
